// Martin Garrix // Headline Tour // O2 Academy Brixton // 28-10-17 //

I was lucky enough to snap up a pair of tickets to Martin’s first ever London headline show, which sold out very shortly after being released. As someone who is used to going to shows with a 10 or 11pm curfew, the 2am curfew was a very different experience and of course a lot more tiring when jumping around for a few extra hours. After once again being ranked the number one DJ in the world via a poll created by DJ Mag, the 21 year old really showed off his DJing talent, playing big hits from his DJ pals on top of his own chart toppers like ‘Animal’ and ‘Scared To Be Lonely’.

Garrix really knows how to put on a show, which was massively enhanced by the incredible lighting, the use of co2 cannons, fire and confetti. It was a lively and colourful show where I couldn’t take my eyes off of the stage. The only thing that could have made my time better other than having merch available would have been if Martin had a Halloween costume on!
