// Bring Me The Horizon // Amo World Tour // Alexandra Palace // 30-11-18 //

Running through huge mosh pits to get closer to the stage, my first time at a Bring Me The Horizon gig was memorable… If that’s the word for it. If losing the beanie off of your head and spending a lot of the time trying not to get knocked over isn’t your cup of tea, Alexandra Palace certainly won’t be your favourite venue. Eventually finding a spot at the front and away from all of the pushing, my night officially felt like it had begun.

Playing a few songs off of their upcoming album ‘Amo’ on top of some of their huge older hits, the band had a song for everyone. Lead singer, Oli was getting a lot of praise by the concertgoers, stating that his voice had drastically improved and from watching older concert videos I’d have to agree. On top of the talent, there were loads of crowd interactions, with Oli even diving into the audience during the encore. When Oli admittedly said ‘I’ve forgotten the words’ during Can You Feel My Heart, the crowd made sure to sing extra loud to help him out and the atmosphere was amazing.

One thing that definitely added to the already incredible night were the visuals. The boys had everything you could want and more to light up the entire ten thousand capacity venue and being near the front you could really feel the heat from the fire that came up from the stage. The energy the band brought on stage was contagious which at times made it feel more like a rave than a concert. I’m eagerly awaiting festival announcements and hoping to see them again in the summer!
