With concerts and festivals across the globe being cancelled, one fan decided enough is enough. Indonesian Bieber fan, Yesika, (also known as @Unaesthetyc on Twitter) is hosting a virtual concert for Justin Bieber fans All Around The World (if you know, you know).

The idea immediately gathered a lot of attention and within less than a day, thousands of free tickets had been sold. The hashtag #BieberVirtualConcert began trending and fans posted screenshots of their tickets, which at one point had sold out.

The virtual gig, taking place on Saturday the 18th of April will be a listening party, with covers, music and unreleased songs by Canadian superstar, Justin Bieber. Fans are encouraged to wear tour merch and tweet their tickets, which are sent to their email addresses, just like they would be for a normal gig.

With the event gathering so much attention, many fans stepped in to help. Indonesian fan page @justinbieber_ID have also played their part in organising the event, which will be taking place on live audio broadcasting app, Mixlr. This creative way of keeping people entertained during lockdown may start a snowball effect of other fanbases following suit.
