// Bea Miller // Sunsets In Outerspace Tour // O2 Academy Islington // 23-09-19 //

Stepping onto the stage for her first ever international headline show, Bea Miller smiled through her opening performance of Song Like You. With support from her band, Bea effortlessly played a total of 13 amazing tracks including ‘Like That’, ‘Fire n Gold’ and encore ‘I Wanna Know’. Despite some tracks dating as far back as 2014, the performances still felt fresh and the crowd were happy to hear such a variety of her catalogue.

During her set, Bea frequently interacted with the crowd, parts of her show even felt like a stand-up set, were the ‘Feels Like Home’ singer joked about talking too much, fuckboys and being overly emotional. Making the night feel like a personal experience for all and even getting up close and personal with the crowd; you almost forgot this was the 20 year old singer’s first time performing in the continent. She is already arena material, with vocals echoing throughout the venue and the energy to match.

She put on such a great show that I was left wanting more, and the only thing I could possibly fault was that she wasn’t on stage for long enough. As incredible as the setlist was, a few fan favourites were missed, including ‘Girlfriend’ and ‘Buy Me Diamonds’ from her most recent album.

I hope to see her in the UK again soon, with a longer set and a bigger production, she would pull it off for sure!
